In today's fast-paced world, many of us find ourselves merely surviving rather than truly thriving. We go through the motions of everyday life, feeling exhausted, stressed, and disconnected. But what if there was a model of change that could help us not just survive, but truly thrive?
Let me introduce you to the THRIVE Model of Change, which I have created to help my clients transform their life, so they can feel energized, fulfilled, and in control. This holistic model is not just about weight loss; it's about embracing a thriving mindset and making positive changes in various aspects of your life.

So let's dive into the THRIVE Model of Change.
T - Transformative Sleep
Sleep is the foundation of good health and vitality. However, many of us struggle with interrupted sleep, which leaves us feeling tired, lethargic and in a low mood when we wake up! To really thrive, we must prioritize QUALITY sleep. This means getting an uninterrupted night of sleep, and the best way to do this is to have a regular bedtime routine, where you go to bed and wake up at the same time, minimize any tech including TV and phone scrolling at least an hour before bed, and do something that will allow your mind to wind down and your body to relax. Sleep is the only time our body has to rest, restore and heal, so if you’re wanting to wake up feeling energized and ready to get into your day, reclaim your sleep!
H - Healthy Eating
Our busy lifestyles often lead us to make quick and easy unhealthy food choices. But nourishing our body with quality food is essential for thriving. Food is not just fuel – it impacts our physical health, mental clarity, and overall well-being. Always choose fresh, nourishing healthy foods that provide the nutrients your body needs to feel vital and alive. Start by refreshing your pantry and getting rid of any UPF’s - Ultra Processed Foods. They are simply a recipe for lethargy, aching joints, a foggy mind & weight gain.
R - Restore Gut Health
Did you know that the gut is often referred to as our "second brain?" Maintaining a healthy gut is key to our overall well-being, because poor gut health can lead to low mood, low energy, stress and anxiety. Our gut is not only the seat of our health, but also our wisdom, and how we feed our gut, will determine the state of our health and our mind, since 90% of Serotonin - our feel good hormone, is produced in the gut. I would highly recommend seeking professional help from a Naturopath or Nutritionist.
I - Invite Support & Self-Care
In our fast-paced lives, burnout is all too common, which is why it is important to prioritize self-care and invite support into your life. Self-care is not a luxury but a necessity for your overall health and well-being. Holistic Healthcare Professionals and Health & Wellbeing Coaches can guide you on your specific journey. By prioritizing self-care and creating a support system, you can recharge, reduce stress levels, and lead a more fulfilling life.
V - Vital Movement
Human beings are designed to move. Exercise not only keeps our bodies healthy but also improves our mental well-being. By creating time for purposeful movement into your day and doing some aerobic exercise and strength training, you’ll be supporting your physical and mental health and well-being at a foundational & functional level. The best thing you can do is something that you LOVE! This way, you’ll look forward to exercising, and you’ll be more likely to make it a priority. Your energy levels will soar, and you’ll be elevating your mood as well.
E - Empowered Mindset
The final piece of the THRIVE Model of Change is an Empowered Mindset. Our thoughts shape our reality and can either hold us back or propel us forward. Be mindful of your thoughts and uncover the root causes of unhelpful behaviors. By doing the deeper personal work, reframing negative thoughts, and practicing a positive mindset, you can move forward, rather than be stuck in negative thoughts & behaviors. An Empowered Mindset will create a ripple effect of positivity throughout your life and your community.
